Ceremony at the Blank Park Zoo
5:00 p.m.

Our wedding ceremony is being held at the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, starting at 5:00 pm. The wedding will be held in the outdoor pavillion weather permitting, with a rain option of the zoo's Discovery Center. A reception follows after at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in downtown Des Moines.

Seating at the zoo for the wedding ceremony is limited. Seats will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis with standing room available.

Regular zoo hours on April 29th will be from 10:00 am  - 4:00 pm.  Admission to the zoo pavilion after 4:00 pm is free for guests.

The wedding is being held after regular zoo hours.  Guests will not be allowed to walk freely through the regular zoo areas after 4:00 pm.

For those wishing to visit the zoo during open hours the day of the ceremony, the zoo will be offering a discounted rate for wedding guests of $6.00 per adult and $4.00 per child.
