So scientists have now made a remote controlled rat by implanting electrodes into the brain of a live rat and sending impulses to turn, jump, climb, etc. Click here if you don't believe me. They say they may one day help with search and rescure efforts.
Now, I'm all for animal testing for responsible reasons (pretty hard to do medical testing without it), but this seems a little overboard. |
